Altech Corp. Emergency Stop Switches are designed for use in machinery where fast, dependable power shutdown is essential to prevent a serious hazard to the operator, or serious damage to the machine itself. A simple push on the bright red actuator releases the normally closed contacts immediately cutting off power to the equipment.

For security, re-activation of the switch requires twisting or pulling the actuator by hand or, for even more security, unlocking it with a key before the circuit can again be closed.

The E-stop assembly features a yellow cover on the enclosure and a  bright red mushroom head actuator (illuminated or non-illuminated). The illuminated actuator uses a long life LED bulb. You also have a choice of contact arrangements, terminals, legends, and accessories.

Custom enclosure assemblies are also available in the plastic or metal series, which is made out of durable aluminum. You can specify any push button, pilot light or contact configuration.
